The Challenge:

Daiichi Sankyo outsources numerous researches and databases from various sources. The compilation of all these sales, marketing and operational analysis need to be organized and assimilated in a Compiled Sales Scorecard. The goal to create this score was to form a one-stop monthly progress report.

Work:

Working solo on the project, I was responsible for collecting, compiling, organizing and automating the various reports into a single scorecard. In order to reduce human errors and save time, I created workbooks and tools using Excel VBA to automate the process of creating the report. Also, optimized the quality checking process to further filter down error rate.

The Outcome:

Reduced man-hour requirement for the project by 80%. All reports were fully automated including their representation on the scorecard. The automation was done in a dynamic way to accommodate for alterations in data sources.
